Our Wild Destinations Photography Workshops and Classes welcome all levels of photographers, from novice/beginners to advanced shooters.
Each workshop and class description indicates who it is designed for by letting you know:

Photographer Skill Levels
Our Destinations Workshops are broken down into 3 photography levels:
EXPLORATIONS – For NOVICE Photographers and Above – who are FAMILIAR WITH basic understanding of digital cameras, photography, composition and image editing software on a laptop computer or tablet.
NOTE: Our Understanding YOUR Camera class or our Intermediate DSLR Capabilities class is required prior to enrolling in our Photography Exploration Workshops.
EXCURSIONS – For INTERMEDIATE Photographers and Above – who have a WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF their DSLR cameras, and are familiar with digital workflow and image editing software on a laptop computer or tablet.
NOTE: Our Intermediate DSLR Capabilities class is required prior to enrolling in our Photography Excursion, and Expedition workshops.
EXPEDITIONS – For INTERMEDIATE /ADVANCED Photographers – who are PROFICIENT IN Proprietary and Manual shooting modes, metering, histograms, lens selection on their DSLR cameras allowing you to do creatively , have a working knowledge of digital workflow and image editing software on a laptop computer or tablet., and are familiar with artificial lighting, digital printing, or other techniques.
NOTE: Our Intermediate DSLR Capabilities class is required prior to enrolling in our Photography Excursion, and Expedition workshops.
Definitions
- FAMILIAR WITH – You have a basic understanding of these skills and techniques
- WORKING KNOWLEDGE OF – You can perform these skills and techniques comfortably
- PROFICIENT IN – You have in-depth experience and are a high-end user

Portfolio Requirements
Many of the workshops for EXPEDITION Workshops require you to submit your images prior to enrolling. This will be specifically noted on the Workshop page if required.
